Having allergies can be challenging especially for snacks. Here is a simple recipe for snack bars that require no oven time!
¾ cup (210g) crunchy peanut butter (or nut butter of choice)
2/3 cup (160ml) honey
1 cup of unsalted nuts of your choice
½ cup seeds (pumpkin seeds/sunflower or a mix of these seeds)
¼ cup chia or flax seeds
1½ cup oats
Pinch of salt
- Bring peanut butter and honey together in a saucepan over a low heat until combined.
- Mix dry ingredients together and pour over the honey mixture.
- Stir until combined and press into a slice tray.
- Refrigerate until set (4 hrs minimum).
